Our Service

- To begin with, a meet and greet at Barkers Retreat is required with you and your pooch so we can get to know each other better!
- Once everyone is happy, we can go ahead and get you set up on our booking system, where you will create your own unique log in. This will then allow you to book multiple days at a time and be able to update all personal details about yourself and your dog
- We insist on a trial period so that your dog is given an opportunity to find their paws and allow them the time to be integrated safely in to the pack, as it is important that they are happy and settled within their environment
Unlike most other daycare centres in the area, we have multiple separated areas in both our a large outdoor area in addition to our indoor space to ensure each dog are able to play freely with likeminded pooches. This means that your dog will have various enrichment areas to enjoy. We have plastic and wooden equipment for your pooch to play on, including podiums, trampolines, giant caterpillars, a range of toys, paddling pools and even a ball pit!
We also understand the need for rest and peace for your dog, so we have multiple separate penned areas for rest periods and lots of beds if they do want to take themselves away for a mid afternoon snooze.
We offer brilliant value for money when compared to dog walkers and dog sitters, so come and give it a go, we can promise your dog will love it!
Please note - we have a zero tolerance policy and any unwanted undesired behaviour such as consistent barking, humping and/or any other dominant behaviour, biting (excluding normal puppy play) and, but not limited to chasing down/bullying other dogs.
